Just about half way through the year and as we all can see there has been some shifting, realignment and refocusing when it comes to certain things in our lives. There isn’t much one can do except: take the change for what it is, see the lesson and pass it so you can move forward to the goal you have set for yourself. My hope is that many of us have done more than “spring cleaning” and “get our energy right.” Everyone has their own methods and coping skills but there is no harm in learning other ways. Halfway, midpoint, point of intersection is where some of us are and ultimately deciding how we want the remainder of the year to be- hopeful with positive production and change. First and foremost I always like to state that I am in no way an expert on your life and I can only share my experience and thoughts to inspire because when one goes up we all do!

So this month’s topic is something we are familiar with “ the fork in the road” concept. It’s so much more than just something in a physical and a directional point of view. This fork in you road can be seen as: you have done some inner work and healing and you reached a point where you can re-evaluate the progress made and what other work needs to be done. Be happy at this stage you have reached because you have taken responsibility for the indirect and direct behavior that has lead you to this point. This is the fork in your path where you can asses your current mental state; your level of spirituality and your overall physical state. Just like an actual fork it has four prongs- each one is stable with the other and created balance and harmony. However, your path can have two paths or more it all depends on you. In Robert Frost’s poem titled “ The Road Not Taken” gives a great example of how some paths are less traveled and that it takes a certain level of bravery, courage, faith and trust to walk that path. At the end of that poem he states “ I took the one less traveled by and that has made all the difference.” He embraced and recognized how much it changed his life for the better and showed that he could do it and so can you. Your path is shaped and created on the trials and tribulations one goes through; it is lined with battles that became victories. I think that there are battles that are won unknowingly than knowingly. No one ever expects their road to be paved smooth but with a indescribable roughness that changes the way you see things within yourself.

Life requires you to expected certain waves and those waves produce change just like the forks in the road- a choice in the middle or end needs to be made. Just like it says in the good book “ choose ye this day.” Your fork in your path determines how receptive you are to the new you forming and embracing the changes that are occurring in you as well as on the outside of you. Accept your path and make those small changes work and make significantly huge impact in your life. #LiveLifePositive
