Deafening Verses Defining Moments

This week proved to have even more lessons than last week and this is why I am posting this daily update right before the week is finally over. I sat back and thought about those things that can be deafening or defining depending on the situation at hand. It always boils down to: what side are leaning to you? As we all know no one can serve two masters let alone two attitudes and make a clear decision. So as I was in my thoughts a statement came to mind and it made so much sense I shared it on Facebook and it went something like this:

"Just a thought: sometimes in our lives we have "deafening" moments in which we can hardly hear what our spirit and potentiality is clearly saying to us because we fail to block out what is toxic to our inner ear and what it means to truly listen and then we have our "defining" moments when things come together in a unexpected way that makes recalculate, refocus and react. Recognize when you are constantly floating between the two and actualize yourself planting your feet firmly on the ground."

This week showed me that even my feelings, emotions etc I have to come to some common ground that way I can see everything on in one horizon line. Nothing like having those things presented before you and being able to make a sound decision that your ultimately comfortable with. What aspects of this week gave you a different perspective?
