Hello again everyone! I know we are nearing the half way mark of June and I pray that everyone is enjoying and learning everything that this month is throwing our way. I know with Juneteenth coming up and this Strawberry/Pink Moon some of us felt the shift two to three days prior and will more than likely feel the affect in the coming days. Some people assume with the moon phases and energy shift that it is always going to be negative.

People should be more geared to the mindset of what will I learn, who and what will be transformed and the pause that we often need at times. In today’s society, we are so use to being in the mood/mode of continuous movement and if you slow down then there is obviously something wrong. I have several questions: when did we as humans turn into machines? And who deemed it necessary that not taking a break so often is not needed? My mind always drifts to the “easy button” that could always be seen on the Staples commercial and it made me laugh because we do not take breaks or slow down especially if we have a goal/goals in mind. Then again we will start to ponder “ if I had not stopped the time that I lost I could of gotten this or that done!” So not only are we being extra critical of time but we are beating ourselves for not pushing through. We must get into the habit of hitting pause when we feel overworked, stressed, tired etc. If we are all three of those things along with a few more things then we will not be able to dedicate our full attention to whatever goal/goals we have intended for ourselves.

The most important thing is not feeling guilty about hitting pause. Just like everyone else I too become hard on myself when I must stop doing art for a client and then get mad at myself for being tired! If that is not backwards thinking, then I do not know what is! LOL! With all this modern technology surrounding use daily we have to learn when to break away and use that "pause time" to get in tuned to what is going to keep us happy and healthy on all levels of life. You cannot expect to be successful in anything if you do not learn how to break away from the daily hustle that at often times makes us feel like hamsters on a wheel! You are not a hamster, get off the damn wheel and do something that makes you relax PERIOD! Use the energy to re-evaluate what is important and what is not. Think about the best things where your energy can be utilized. Hitting pause is essential to your life and those around you always keep that in mind. So with that being said be good to yourself, be a nice human and always #LiveLifePositive
