Hey everyone! Thanks for coming through and gracing my blog with your presence and energy. My prayer is that everyone is safe and to be even more mindful due to the current situation the world is in. While there is a lot of negativity going on what I offer is to bring some light to the darkness that has penetrated the many hearts of people. After all is said and done the many things that we used to do will be forever changed. As always my infamous disclaimer statement ( let me clear my throat!) I am not an expert on you- that's your job! I am here to share my feelings and experiences as a means of helping and healing others. To also assist them in reaching their highest potential and having a better insight on themselves. We are all in the growing process and will reach our own levels of self-awareness at different times. So therefore set the pace that is good for you and run your race with patience, clarity, harmony and of course love.
So guess what you are invited to?!? You are invited to your own manifestation party for one- yes I am talking to you! I have been meditating since I was 16/17 to get my temper under control and eventually I did and I kept meditating. I t has honestly changed my life for the better in so many ways that I am grateful. I am often asked “ how do you meditate?” and “ how do I get started because I have difficulty quieting my mind?” One thing I do let people know is that there is no right or wrong way to meditate as long as you get started! You do not need a “how-to” book or constantly ask because what works for one may not work for another. So I recommend seeing what methods are out there and then create your own. One method that I did find helpful was the candlelight method and I will provide the links for you to do your own research as well as other useful tools. To get started on meditating you do not need much something comfortable to sit in a chair, indian style or lay back on. I find the savasana pose typically done at the end of a yoga session to be the most helpful. If you want to have something under your neck for support and a towel to cover your eyes and a quiet place is just one way to get ready. Once you're comfortable, focusing on your breathing is a key factor because it keeps you from overthinking and if you feel you're becoming distracted, put the focus back onto your breathing. One thing I will say is this: pace yourself and start out by attempting to meditate for 10 mins a day for a week and then if you're able to do that then try 15 mins so on and so forth (see 2). You can also utilize guided meditation and of course it is such a valuable tool so I definitely recommend it if you have difficulty getting started see (1).
Another question I have so been asked is “ what am I manifesting?” My answer to that is what do you want to change in your life- love, money, abundance, happiness etc. “There are many different ‘definitions’ of the word manifest, but the simplest would be that a manifestation is ‘something that is put into your physical reality through thought, feelings, and beliefs'. This means that whatever you focus on is what you are bringing into your reality. You may focus and manifest through meditation, visualization or just via your conscious or subconscious.”(3) Through meditation and manifesting you can get in touch with your spiritual side and get to know yourself in that light. If you have questions about what is going on internally and externally with you- meditate and ask the Universe/Source/God questions. Then you have to be patient and wait for answers through synchronicities, signs, music etc. Meditation also helps with increasing your awareness and tapping into your spiritual guides and communicating with your spiritual guides. We are all gifted in some fashion because we have the spark of divinity no matter if you have a religion you practice or not. Something else I wanted to touch base on is that prayer and meditation are two different things while some may say they are the same they are different. Prayer is when you are conversing with Universe/Source/God whereas Meditating is when Universe/Source/God is conversing with you. Meditation and Manifestation have so many great benefits to enriching your life and you're always invited to explore the deeper depths of you. The change you seek singly depends on you because your perception is your reality. If you want better for yourself you have to actively visualize to actualize. Your mindset will either propel you forward or hold you back! The change you want is just a mindset away. You have to actively participate in the show called life. Remember in the process of your growth to be gentle with yourself and others but also be good to others and always #LiveLifePositive.
